John Simm spent several weeks on set during filming for Series 10.  Hopefully, that means a significant amount of on-air time.

This adds weight to the theory that The Vault is actually a Prison designed to hold The Master.     :)

Well, so far so good.

I enjoyed both the Pilot and Smile and am even finding Whovians quite watchable. Both episodes get 3.5 photons from me.

The trick is not too take it too seriously...and then all is good!

Must admit that I am liking Bill a lot. She is fresh, funny and interesting and, more importantly, is not a 'shadow Doctor'  - much more in the traditional roleof the companion. Pity she is leaving at the end of this Season.

Certainly this Series is starting off way better than the last two.

Ther DWTV poll results for the Pilot were published the other day.  Overall, it was rated fairly highly. It will be interesting to see if the ABC Whovian poll is similar:

I think Mr Moffat will be happy with that.

I agree with you 100% on that point SJ4.    8)

Cheers Photon - it will be interesting to see if Thin Ice continues the positive trend (at least to me) or we run into a 'Robots of Sherwood' scenario at this point of the Series...but the stars are all looking good so far.

Some Radio Times theories and speculation about how John Simm's Master fits into Series 10.  There are no spoilers, it's just pure speculation.

Some interesting speculation.

I look forward to seeing an encounter between The Master and Missy.    8)
