Last night's episode of The Halcyon was brilliant, especially the conversation between Toby's lover and Lady Hamilton's lover. The latest air raid has also broken the ice between Emma and Joe (the American journalist). Will it lead to something more?  Really loving this series.

Yes it was indeed very good. Lots of "understanding" conversations between different groups. Lady H's lover is a dangerous opportunist. Joe has made progress with Emma but it might be slow as she is very dutiful and committed. It was sad to lose Billy but realistic. Such things did happen.

Yes, Bill's death was tragic indeed.

Power Failure.

Four Corners investigates how a nation as rich as Australia is in coal, gas, sunshine and wind, could find itself in an energy crisis.

I heard on the news that power prices are about to rise by 40%.

'There should be politician's heads rolling because of that, but no doubt they will blame the power companies.

So a bunch of red neck LNP back benchers objecting to an ETS has buggered the whole system.

Combined with the mismanagement of the Gas Market no wonder business has a crisis of confidence.

Politics over policy. Disgraceful.

I found it depressing and I didn't really like anyone much, but it kept me watching.

It was cleverly written and well acted, but not brilliantly so.

I wonder if there'll be any more?

I'm looking forward to it too. Marta Dusseldorp is terrific as Janet King, not to be missed. Actually she's worth watching in anything she does, a great "jobbing actor" as she describes herself.

I enjoyed the return of Janet King, she looks like she's thriving at the Crime Commission.

Poor old Richard is looking very uncomfortable, he needs a better class of clients.
