Bill Cosby to stand trial on sexual assault charges dating back to 2004, US judge rules.

About time that he faced the law.

The Greens have a new model for business.

Ethics.

Good luck with that, but it sounds like a good idea to me.

That would help too, but most people's lives are more affected on a daily basis by the businesses that they deal with rather than the ivory tower politicians.

This requires an expert opinion from our resident man on the land the SM.

Election 2016: Barnaby Joyce throws half-a-billion-dollar lifeline to Australian dairy farmers.

I think Barnaby and his opposition counterpart Joel Fitzgibbon should be commended for this bipartisan package. The concessional loans will help and if the counselling services are well trained I believe they are quite necessary too.

There been a lot of rumours flying around about Coles using powder in their home brand milk. This hs completely untrue but social media has had a field day with it. Unfortunately about a third of my factory's milk goes into Coles bottles and with the drop in sales over the last week the flow on effects to our farm is worrying me quite a lot at the moment. Im certainly preparing myself for a hard year.

e) and maybe a little bit of a)

The reason for the sharp drop in price paid to farmers for milk solids is because of a global oversupply. This is because of an unexpected drop in demand from China, and Russia banning import of dairy from EU countries (for no other reason than that Russia likes to flex it's muscle) leading to a glut of milk in Europe. As farmers are highly subsidised in Europe this means they continue to produce despite the lack of demand- leading to a drop in world price.

In New Zealand they are heading into the third season of below cost of production prices- with many farmers there living on overdraft. Australai has been better off up until this season because the Victorian co-operative Murray Goulburn has held it's price up- forcing the other foreign owned companies in Vic, Tas and SA to hold their prices in order to secure supply. When MG dropped it's price, they were quickly followed by the other main exporters in the Southern states.

The situation has NOTHING to do with the supermarkets, (as awful as they are) and the reaction of boycotting supermarket brand milk, while done with the best of intentions will do nothing to help the farmers whose milk mainly gets sold into the export market.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is in diplomatic damage control today, rejecting his deputy Barnaby Joyce's comments that a 2011 decision to suspend live cattle exports to Indonesia is linked to an increase in asylum seeker boats.

Mr Turnbull said "there is no link between the Indonesian government and people smuggling" and praised the leadership of Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo.

The latest instalment of Tory Family Feud has arrived.

Former Liberal Party member and independent councillor Marcus Cornish says he will run against incumbent Liberal MP Fiona Scott in the crucial marginal electorate of Lindsay.

Mr Cornish sensationally resigned from the party on the first full day of the campaign after accusing Ms Scott of stabbing former Prime Minister Tony Abbott in the back by voting for Malcolm Turnbull in last September's leadership spill.

Keep it up kids, the ALP and Greens appreciate your efforts.  :)
